520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | The Current Developments in Mathematics (CDM) conference is an annual seminar, jointly hosted by Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and devoted to surveying the most recent developments in all areas of mathematics. The CDM selection committee consists of three professors from Harvard University and three from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; each committee member is prominent and working in the forefront of mathematics. In choosing lecturers for each conference, the committee members take a broad look at the various areas of mathematics, and select lecturers who are not only prominent specialists in their fields, but also transcend classical perceptions within their fields. |
